Baking Chef in the Making!!!!

Today is my 2nd last baking class. I signed for 4 foundation lessons in cake-baking. Really love it. I had a good partner and i really enjoyed baking.

But today's lesson was extremely tiring. We baked 3 cakes (Pandan Kaya Layer Cake, Sweetcorn fudge cake and blackforest cake). I was in the classroom for 6.5 hrs. Was baking, cleaning, washing and decorating the cake. It really take my mind off things. Enjoy the pictures! After attending the class, i realized that anyone can bake! :) And baking has alot of scientific theories in it, like baker's ratio, chemical reaction... etc....

My Rented Place

Pool for the beginner, for people who just want to sit, relax and stone... :)

25m Lap pool for anyone who wants to swim! Great feeling swimming here cos not many people are staying here , hence the pool is always empty... :)

I love the bathroom... Cos its adjoined bathroom... double doors :)

I love the window view from my room. Like a mini piece of heaven just for me to enioy. :)

New Phase

Today is my first day that i do not have to report at a work. Honestly speaking, i was happy to wake up at 9am without feeling guilty, BUT i was feeling lost and down. Maybe because i didn't have much buyers on hand.

After thinking about things, i decided to stop dwelling in this and do sumthing abt it. So i started calling and preparing stuff. Felt better.

Hope sumthing good turns out of this.

Blockhead

Another type of my colleague : BLOCK HEAD

Here goes the dialog..

Block Head: By right, YOU should treat all of us to lunch cos u are leaving.
Me: Hey, come on, i m going to treat u guys to cakes worth $200 plus (Mille Crepes). And usually when people leave the company, it is the section's treat not MINE. AND i wasn't PROMOTED at all and my pay is the LOWEST. AND u expect me to treat????????? !!!!!

Arrgh... When 7 of the people in my department got promoted, they didn't want to treat us 7 times. By right, usually the one who got promoted should treat the whole department individually. But they want to save money, so they treat all at one shot. AND THEY EXPECT ME TO TREAT THEM WHEN I AM LEAVING?

My mum who worked in the civil service for 25 years told me that all i need to do is to buy sum cakes n treat them. That's all.

If you want me to treat 17 of u to good food. It will be like $1k for me. and i am going to be unemployed. Please spare a thought for my wallet man. Arrgh...

I cant wait to get out of this place.

First Viewing

Today was my first day of viewing. I was really excited. There were 2 buyers who were really keen in the properties.

The night before the viewing, i was getting ready all the documents, past transactions and other informations that are relevant to the buyer.

Den i realize i forget the "Offer to Purchase" form. So i head down to Toa Payoh to get the form. When i reach Toa Payoh, i realize that the office is closed on LABOUR day. Hahahaha... What a big blunder..

But my friend managed to pass me the form. So phew...!

So the first buyer came, they are very sweet couple and they look really young. They were keen but price is too steep and location wasn't to their liking.

Second buyer came, young couple as well. Abit quiet, didn't talk much or answer much of my questions. Guess they are pretty private people. Will call them in 2 days time to find out their response.

So in the meantime, what do i do?

I HAVE to source for other units to standby to bring those 2 buyers. I can sense that they want to buy around this area. And i hope i can help them achieve their aim. :)
