really wanted to blog everyday....but too lazy.....but will post what i did for the past few days ...and i will put up photos soon....
May 13th:
todae is friday the thirteen!!.....i was borned on the FRIday of thirteen....to many ppl is unlucky...to me is sumthing really unique....really unique....cos if u born on the ninth and on thursday....thursday of ninth does not sound matching....but then again....it can be special to that person....yup....
i stayed at home the whole day.....surf the net....i think sooner or later...i will be bored with the internet....haha
May 14th:
its raining...but....who cares....i am going to NTU to sign the laptop loan agreement with my parents at 8 flags....wanted a laptop cos i want to apply for GIP....=p......and i dun wan my parents to buy laptop for me...i wan to have sumthing in my own name....yah...took only 10mins to sign the thing....that was fast...
then accompany my parents to my father's working place...waited for him to settle sum stuff....den went to JCC to eat lunch....yummy...i love the hokkien mee there...i am hungry now ...that y i think its yummy....haha....
den went home to sleep til 5 plus...den went to eat dinner...
May 15th:
Sunday.....have to wake up earlier than usual bcos my parents is at home....ate beancurd for breakfast...nice...long time nv eat that....
den went to hospital to visit my grandmother...oh yah...my grandmother have been diagnosed that she have a tumour in her liver....haiz...her husband(my grandfather) also suffered the same thing and have passed away 2 years ago...
but what to do....we humans...sooner or later we will die....but its abit sad to know that when u are old,u are more vulnerable to diseases....so we must start to invest for our future health....must not be obese...it will bring more health problems....as u can see in my grandparents....
saw my grandmother...heard from her that she is going for endoscopy to check for any colon cancer.....i am not closed to my grandparents..i dun speak their dialect...unless u say those foul languages...all these foul language ...i learn it from my father's mother....she always curse our family...so i naturally pick up all these...sumtime i will throw sum to her too...haha....dun think she is pitiful,she is not....she is a true evil person....yup....
after the hospital...i went to have lunch with my relatives at EAStpoint....not bad the food....steam meat,roast duck,char siew,pork, stewed chicken,dumpling soup..etc....
den went home to do my boring things....reading my harry potter book,sleeping and its dinner at home...yeah...cabbage rice...i love it!!......i am really hungry....haha...( note that i am writing this in the middle of the nite).....
May 16th:
woke up pretty late...slept for about 12 hours....that is normal...met up with my frenz to work at NTU ( telesurveying job )...den i went all the way there to hear from the person in-charge that she wan experienced ppl as that day was the last day for the school project...so my frenz did not get the job...for me,i got do that b4...but i dun wan to take up that job...abit guilty...
so we went from place to place to photocopy stuff and hand in a form...
den met Ranjini to go to cityhall to hand in an envelope...
den went to funan it mall to eat carrot cake....yucks...it is really oily...when u poke the carrot cake...the oil juz oozes out...i am not exaggerating...its the fact...
den bought cheese pancake for my mum..she work near there...so i waited for her and go back with her...haha....den got a headache...dunno whether i think too much or not...i think its the oil from the carrot cake which causes my headaches....dun ever eat funan carrot cake...yucks...disgusting...
May 17th:
woke up earlier..cos received alot of smses and phone calls....No choice...i cannot switch off my phone...what if there is an important call...u never know...
Met my fren Angela at 4pm..but end up being late for 30mins....sorry...shopped around...
bought 2 tops...bought many pastries for my parents and brother at the crystal jade i think...they got egg white tarts,durian egg tarts and coffee egg tarts....never see this before...
but anyway,their egg white tarts taste very nice and crispy...thumbs up!!...and its egg white...healthier...den went home to eat dinner....another day have gone...
i need to find a job soon...really soon....
May 18th:
Job hunting day again.....met Ranjini..my job hunting partner...went for an interview at Watson...we went there and it was really long long queue...the receptionist told us to go back when we filled in the application form, they will contact us if we are shortlisted....IT MEANS...sorry...we got alot of ppl..get out of here...
den went to tanjong pagar...went to this weird company....all of the staffs are of our age....20 plus....youngest is 18....and they give me a weird vibe like they are going to brainwash us....yah...they din really tell us much about what they are doing,they only show us the place and tell us how good this place is...Eee..that is horrible...at least i learn sumthing....dun think its good til u know everything....
den went to the singapore conference hall for another interivew...it turn out that i copied the wrong number...so we cannot find that place....so we went to our next destination....
we went for a forum called the WOMEN OF COURAGE...it is organized by AWARE....and they invited 2 speakers to speak to us....
one of them was Ms Meutya...she was kidnapped by ppl in IRAQ while on an assignment by her TV company....she told us about her experiences...and what kept her going....really inspiring...
the other one is Ms Basma...she stay in Iraq for many years...she worked for UNIFEM..she told us about women in IRAQ....their literacy rate....and an incident where sumone sacrify his life to save a group of ppl from sucide bombers....they say gunshots and bombs are a daily affair...its not anything surprising...
When i heard what they have said...i was thinking...y am i worried abt this and that...i am living...i can do anything i wan ...cos i can.....yup...this really changed sum of my perceptions....really changed...after that its back home....
